Blair Sohl

Hello and thank you for stopping by my website.  I knew at an early age, movement and sport were going to be a lifelong passion. 

I initially started college wanting to be a fire fighter. During that time as a 2 sport athlete, the passion for coaching and fitness turned into a lifestyle. I started personal training and group fitness with Spectrum Fitness while I was a graduate assistant at UIW. I left when Golds Gym bought them out,  I started Alamo Athletic and Training. 

Over the last 10 years I have been focusing on college coaching and athletic performance training while maintaining my personal training business 10-15 hours a week. 

Now it is time to focus on AAT, grow the brand and spend more time with my family rather than having 2 careers. 

Achievements and Education

-2x TAPPS All State RB/LB  

-2x All City RB. 2nd team2005, 1st team 2006 

-Fox 29 Offensive player of the year 2005-06

-Captain of the East Team San Antonio East v West All Star game.

-3 Sport All State at St. Anthony. Football, Soccer, Track. 

-2010 indoor All American Pole Vaulter while playing football at Adam State University

-12 years D1 coaching experience building the track and field brand for UIW.

-5x conference champion and 2023 triple crown winning assistant coach

-Coach of 6 Southland Conference Champions, 5 NCAA Regional Qualifiers, 1 All American, and 1 -Conference Athlete of the Year. 

-#2 Ranked Decathalon group in all of the NCAA

-BS in Kinesiology Adam State 2010

-MS in Sports Management UIW 2012 

-USTFCCCA Level 2 Jumps, Throws, Multi event, sprints/hurdles, S&C

Our mission with AAT is to provide a individualized training plan that meets you at your current fitness level. If that is done with 1on1 individual training, small group fitness, online training or consulting.  We can help guide you safely towards a healthier lifestyle or way of moving. We do this by using time tested and science backed fundamentals of movement and sport.
